Music is a powerful tool

Information presented in a familiar and fun manner is more likely to capture the interest of a listener, no matter how difficult the information is to understand. Imagine teaching the alphabet to a preschool child and requiring them to memorize a string of 26 letters as opposed to learning the “ABC” song. We understand the power of rhythm-based mnemonics and use them to teach to more challenging topics, such as photosynthesis, fractions and decimals, 44 presidents, and figurative language.

We also realize that today’s youth listen to hip-hop and rap music in huge numbers that transcend race, culture, and age. Our songs entertain and engage students, but the more fundamental goal is to convey academic-based information in format that students of many backgrounds and cultures understand and identify with. We help in key subject areas without compromising on quality

One of the greatest strengths of RRR’s products is its relevance to key education issues in today’s schools. In addition to the pressures of curriculum and assessment mandates, middle schools have come under fire for their students’ flagging performance in math and science, which weakens the foundation for high school and contributes to higher drop out rates. Our educational music makes no compromises in rigor and is based on teacher-recommended topics in core subject areas. Lively and appealing, the original lyrics and beats are created and produced with the sole intent of engaging students in fact-filled learning.

Parents of special needs children and kids learning English as a second language (ESL/ELL) have found the songs particularly helpful for education.

We are endorsed by national organizations and target state and federal assessment guidelines

All of the RRR songs have been thoroughly researched, tested in classrooms, and approved by teachers, educators, and professionals in the field. We select song topics, create original outlines, and write lyrics with a close eye on leading state and federal assessment standards. We hire professional writers and musicians, several with advanced degrees in their subject area and classroom teaching experience, to help us craft our music. We won two 2009 Parents Choice Awards and 5 of 5 stars from Common Sense Media, the premier national non-partisan reviewing and rating organization for children’s media, gives RRR’s music its highest rating as desirable educational media.

RRR’s music is great for home study

Multi-version production allows RRR music to be used in classroom, home-school, or home-study settings. With four versions of each song available, the possibilities are endless for use as introduction, testing, or review of subject matter, as well as use in creative projects related to primary topics. In addition, games, puzzles, and quizzes are available for free with any mini collection purchase.
